Ensure panels are being installed in the correct order as per the “building the house” section of the instruction manual.
Line up the letter of each panel with the corresponding letter shown on the house base (A,B,C,D) and click it in place.
You can use your fingers to push the nail in and pull them out if you have lost your hammer.
Extra nails are included in the set in case you lose some.
The paw prints only appear if cold/ice water is used. Empty any remaining water into the water bowl/welcome mat and refill using cold water from refrigerator or ice water.
The welcome mat may be too cold. Move to a warmer room or indoors if possible until paw prints are not visible.
There may be a few reasons as to why your puppy is not being revealed.
Make sure the front door is closed. Puppy will not be revealed if front door is opened.
Ensure roof is placed correctly on the house panels. The puppy will not reveal unless the roof is correctly assembled onto house.
Push the nameplate and nail into the house firmly.
Ensure the puppy has been placed correctly into the roof of the house and is not jammed or pinched.
Make sure the circular lock on the underside of the roof is removed before playing. This only needs to be removed before the 1st use.
Ensure the switch inside puppy’s belly is in “ON” position, not the “OFF” position.
The batteries may be low; low batteries may not allow full function.
Insert fresh batteries as described in the “Batteries” section of the instruction manual.
Ensure batteries are inserted in correct polarity (+/-)
Ensure you are petting the top of the puppy’s head (see “Petting Sensor” location in the diagram in the instruction manual).
Actively removing or inserting the bone toy at the same time as petting may result in petting sounds being overridden.
Using your whole palm (for greater contact area) will increase chances of sensor activation.
After repeated play, your puppy may develop some dirt/ marks on its soft fabric surface. Gently brush with a clean cloth or soft brush and wipe off dirt marks immediately.
Do not use water, chemicals, or detergents.
