In both the Pink plush and the Purple plush, your child can discover either a Kitten or a Puppy.
1. What kind of pet will you reveal? Puppy or Kitten?
2. Sewing Machine colour – Pink or Purple
3. Comb: Which color will your child reveal?
4. Watch: Which colour will your child reveal?
5. Glasses: Which colour will your child reveal?
6. Glasses: Which design will your child reveal?
7. Which head accessory will your child reveal?
8. Which clothing top will your child reveal?
9. Which clothing bottom will your child reveal?
10. Which sticker sheet will your child revieve?
Pick a spool colour and put it on the spindle. Each coloured spool corresponds to the each fashion item. Place the spool on the spindle. Turn clockwise to reveal the fashion. Repeat with each colour.
Great start! The spools can be placed on the storage pins at the top of the machine.
When you are ready to reveal your fashions, place one of the spool onto the spindle and turn clockwise to reveal an item of clothing. Repeat with remaining spools to reveal the complete outfit!
A spindle is a part of the sewing machine where you put your spool to turn and reveal your fashions. See the below diagram to show you where it is located on your Sewing Machine.
You can complete your pets look by styling with the fashionable accessories, including a watch and glasses.
You can reset and play to reveal your fashions again and again!
1. Open one draw (following the instructions)
2. Fold each item of clothing and place into the draw matching the clothing colour to the spool label colour. Push the draw closed.
3. Repeat for each item of clothing
4. Place each spool back on the storage pins. You are now ready to reveal.
Unfortunately, at this time, it is not possible to purchase additional accessories.
Scruff-a-Luvs is all about the surprise reveal, so unfortunately there is no way of knowing which breed your child is going to rescue. You can however purchase a different coloured Scruff-a-Luv or limited editions which might still be availble in your market. You can tell which versions are available by the colour of the image on the pack.
Scruff-a-Luvs Sew Surprise has two breeds of pets to collect: A puppy or a kitten. Each comes in both pink and purple, so 4 to collect in total.
We recommend towel drying your animal first and then drying with a hair dryer on a medium heat setting under adult supervision.
For super-speedy drying, you can also put your Scruff-a-Luv in the washing machine on a spin cycle.
No – Scruff-a-Luvs cannot be tumble dried.
It is not necessary to use any cleaning products but if your child wants to give Scruff-a-Luv a bubble bath, child friendly soap or body wash can be used. Ensure the animal is then rinsed thoroughly.
The process of going from scruffy to fluffy takes roughly 20-30 minutes.
Once you’ve shaved, washed, dried and groomed your Scruff-a-Luv you cannot return it to its previous state. After all… it’s been rescued and doesn’t want to go back to being matted! However, you can continue to wash, dry and groom your Scruff-a-Luv multiple times, ensuring that the correct washing and drying process is followed.
