Read more Read less

Water wax is more than 95% water! What gives the material it’s waxy consistency is primarily a polysaccharide, a cellulose material that is entirely safe and non-toxic. There are additionally some pigments and perservatives added to ensure the material stays clean and fresh.

The water wax compound has a bitter taste. It is harmful if I eat it?

Read more Read less

No. The bitter taste is a non toxic flavour added to the compound to deter children from eating it. Even though the water-wax and the bittering agent are non-toxic, some children may experience light nausea from the bitter taste. If your child is distressed after eating the water-wax, drink plenty of water. Seek medical help if symptoms persist.

The water-wax is mostly water, and a polysaccharide cellulose. As the water dries the polysaccharide will begin to crystalize with a white, fuzzy-looking texture. This material is not harmful. We recommend to dispose of the water wax when finished playing.
